Tim Daughters of Concord, MA is excited to be playing Erronius, the father who has lost his children, in The Cannon Theatre's hilarious musical, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"! The book is by Burt Shrevelove and Larry Gelbart and music by Steven Sondheim, with direction by Shawn Cannon. Set in Rome, this fast-paced musical is about a slave trying to earn his freedom, and is sure to please all ages! SHOW DATES ARE MAY 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31, JUNE 5, 6, 7 at 7:30 pm, with a matinee MAY 31 at 1:00 pm. The first weekend, May 16 and 17, there will be a 20% off special ticket price, with Adults $16, Seniors/Students $12 and Children 10 and under $8.

A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM is a non-stop laugh-fest in which Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan, named Philia, for his young master, Hero, in exchange for his freedom. The plot twists and turns with cases of mistaken identity, witty repartee' and hysterical laughs. This unforgettable musical allows a terrific ensemble of comedic actors to shine — "something for everyone, a comedy tonight!"

The Cannon Theatre is a small, intimate nonprofit 501(c)(3) blackbox style theatre. Their season includes a fall comedy, a children's musical, a spring classic comedy, a musical, and one children's production during the summer.
