• Rainbow replica: 3D-printed homage brings iconic Minute Man to library (concordbridge.org) — A new 5-foot, rainbow-colored 3D-printed Minute Man created by more than 100 residents is now on display outside the Teen Room at the Concord Free Public Library. The collaborative project links Concord's Revolutionary War history with modern makerspace technology and sustainability, and it's expected to remain in its current spot for about another month before possibly moving.
• Concord Police log highlights: August 12-18, 2026 (concordbridge.org) — Recent Concord police calls from August 12–18 include a stolen bicycle on Main Street, an aggressive coyote report, and several arrests on Concord Turnpike for impaired or unlicensed driving and outstanding warrants. Officers also handled loud music, a loose dog on Lowell Road, and reports of suspicious people and possible car break-ins in several neighborhoods.
• MIAA boys preseason best XI: A look at the top returning talent (soccerjournal.com) — A standout Concord-Carlisle boys' soccer player, Max Hepworth, has been named to a statewide preseason "best XI" list, spotlighting him among Massachusetts' top returning high school talents. The piece surveys strong players across positions and notes how deep this year's MIAA boys' soccer field is, giving Concord fans reason to watch their team closely this season.
