Ash Wednesday Services -- Trinity Episcpal Church
Three services on February 14 in Trinity's historic Chapel

Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord begins the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday, February 14, offering three Holy Eucharist services with imposition of ashes by Trinity's clergy.
The schedule of services on February 14 is 7 AM, 12 noon and 7 PM. All three services take place in Trinity's historic and intimate Chapel at 81 Elm Street in Concord. All ages are welcome at all services, but the 7 PM
service will feature a sermon by The Rev. Nancy J. Hagner particularly for families and young people.
Ash Wednesday, the first day of the 40-day penitential season of Lent, derives its name from the practice of blessing ashes made from palm branches from the previous year's Palm Sunday. Ashes are imposed on the forehead with the words, "Remember that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return” as a reminder of our mortality as God’s creatures.
