Soprano Harriet Bridges is a versatile singer, known for her expertise in early music from Medieval chant to Baroque cantatas. She deeply cherishes sacred music that seeks to inspire the divine not only in western music but also in other genres, including devotional bhajans of the Karnatak tradition. In this vein she has been honored to perform for the spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi and thousands of her devotées since 2013.

In the greater Boston area, Harriet Bridges sings with the choral ensembles of Night Song and the Seraphim Singers. In theater, she sang the vocal lead for the 2010 Boston Christmas Revels (“Bridges sings like
an angel;” Boston Herald) and performed in a multimedia concert of troubadour music with the Medieval ensemble Bernardus at the Boston Early Music Festival fringe. She was a featured soloist in Ars et Amici’s recent tour of the Lake Como region in Italy as well as earlier tours in Venice and Croatia.
