Beyond the Notes brings Grammy Award-Winning Artists to Concord!

Featuring guest artists from Yo-Yo Ma's Grammy Award-winning Silkroad Ensemble & a unique partnership with Powers Art Gallery

This is not your average concert.

Violinist and Concord native Sarah Whitney is passionate about changing the concert experience. She will present the 6th annual ‘Beyond the NotesBeyond the Notes’ concert, performing with guest artists Mike Block (cello/vocals) & Sandeep Das (tabla) on February 28th, 7:30 p.m. at 51 Walden Performing Arts Center (51 Walden St., Concord).

Beyond the Notes is a unique and interactive concert experience that gives the audience a chance to get to know the performers beyond what can be read in their bios. In addition to presenting some of today’s most sought after musicians, Beyond the Notes invites audience members to participate in the concert by submitting written questions. Questions are selected randomly and answered live on stage by the performers throughout the concert. For the sixth annual concert, Whitney is bringing guest artists Mike Block (cello/vocals) & Sandeep Das (tabla) from Yo-Yo Ma’s Grammy Award-winning Silkroad Ensemble. Whitney is thrilled to announce the second artistic partnership with Powers Gallery of Acton. Artwork will be showcased on the stage to enhance the listening experience of this performance.
