Boys Alpine Skiing Takes Top Spot in Last Week's Slalom Event

A wrap up of CCHS Alpine Skiing's recent competitions.

On Jan. 26, participated in its third Alpine Ski meet of the season. The boys team placed 1st out of eight schools in the Slalom Event squeezing out Lincoln Sudbury who has been extremely strong this season.  Concord Carlisle scored 469 total points while Lincoln Sudbury tallied 463 points. Sophomore Andrew Solomon, won the boys race with a time of 26.24. Derrick Amodei was the next finisher for CC with a place of 6th with a time of 27.16. James Bloomfield was 8th with a time of 27.97 and Nick Solomon was 10th with a time of 28.27; next was Alex Nardone, 11th with a time of 28.56; Jake Mulligan finished 20th with a time of 30.74.

Patrick Savage has taken over coaching the Patriots from long-time successful Coach Robert Furey who is assisting him this year with the transition.

The girls team placed 5th with Reilly Harring as the first Concord Carlisle girl across the finish line with a place of 21 and a time of 31.11. Alli Barrett was next with a place of 22 and time of 31.16. Tessa Dibble was 23rd with a time of 31.25. Next was Emma Mahoney at 25th with a time of 31.58, and then Emma Reichheld finished 31st at 32.83
