Man Hit By MBTA Train in Concord, Walks Away: Officials

A man was struck by an MBTA train in the Union Street area in Concord Friday afternoon.

Concord police reported the incident at about 3:30 p.m. MBTA said the man suffered minor injuries and did not require treatment.

The train is part of the Fitchburg line; officials said there will be delays through at least the rest of the afternoon. Shuttle buses were sent to the scene to transport stranded passengers.
