Bucket Truck Drives Into Underground Vault at Concord Academy Construction Site
A bucket truck traveling across the lawn at Concord Academy fell into a three-foot deep electrical underground vault Wednesday.

CONCORD, MA—A bucket truck operating at a construction site at Concord Academy fell into a 3-foot underground vault Wednesday.
According to Concord Fire Chief Mark Cotreau, a firefighter overseeing welding detail alerted the fire department about the incident, in which the truck fell into a high voltage underground vault. There was one man inside the truck at the time, but he was not injured.
"This was a minor accident with no injuries that caused very little disruption to the community," Cotreau said.

Summer camp at Concord Academy was in session, but was uninterrupted. Firefighters remained on scene until this afternoon, until a recovery company was able to remove the truck from the vault. The site was shut down for the remainder of the day.
The man inside the truck was able to get out of the vehicle himself, and declined further medical attention from EMTs.
