The Concord-Carlisle High School softball team will have to wait one more day to play the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) North Division I semifinals.
Second-seeded Concord-Carlisle's game against No. 3 Acton-Boxboro was rained out at Martin Field on Thursday. The game will be played Friday in Lowell at 7 p.m. The winner will take on No. 12 Lexington in the sectional final on Saturday.
Two other Patriot teams also will play state tournament games on Friday.

The boys' tennis team, the No. 1 seed in Division I North, takes on No. 2 Lexington in the sectional final at Newton South High. The match starts at 3:30 p.m.
On the lacrosse field, No. 2 Concord-Carlisle takes on No. 3 Medfield in the Division II East semifinals. That game will be played at Lincoln-Sudbury High at 5 p.m.
