Public Lecture in Concord: Healing with joy—discovering the power of Love
Concord, MA — November 6, 2025 — The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Concord, invites the public to a free talk on Christian Science, “Healing with joy: discovering the power of Love,” by Ann K. Kneeland, CS, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. The lecture will be held on Thursday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m. at 7 Lowell Road (Monument Square), Concord, Massachusetts. Free parking and childcare will be provided.
In her talk, Ann Kneeland will share real-life examples of spiritual healing that illustrate how fear, illness, and division yield to the power of divine Love. She emphasizes that healing in Christian Science is deeply joyful—the natural outcome of understanding God as Life and Love.
About the Speaker
Ann Kneeland is a Christian Science practitioner and lecturer based in San Rafael, California. Raised in a family that relied on Christian Science, she experienced healing of sickness, sports injuries, and academic pressures through prayer and an understanding of God’s care. After college, she pursued Primary Class instruction in Christian Science, which deepened her ability to heal and guided her career and family life.
In 2009, she established a full-time healing practice, advertising in The Christian Science Journal. She has helped people find freedom from sickness, fear, and personal challenges through prayerful treatment. Ann has also served as a Chaplain in the Marin County Jail, participated in radio interviews, and spoken to teen and interfaith groups. She and her husband have raised two children, finding Christian Science a constant support in parenting.
Ann loves how sharing Christian Science requires listening to God and speaking from the heart. Her message is that everyone can experience joy and freedom through a deeper trust in God’s presence and power.
