CCM Free Faculty Concert: Xonor Trio

CCM Free Faculty Concert Series Kicks Off with Xonor Trio

On Friday, September 19th at 7:00 pm, The Concord Conservatory of Music will start its Free Faculty Concert Series for the year with the Xonor Trio, featuring CCM violin instructor Yumi Okada, and piano instructor Rasa Vitkauskaite, as well as Ignacy Grzelazka on cello. The group will play chamber music works by Beethoven, Piazzolla, and Mendelssohn.  

Xonor Trio was founded in 2009, the same year it won the Chamber Music Honors Competition at the Boston Conservatory. The trio members are all highly accomplished musicians and winners of multiple international competitions. They play in the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra in Washington DC, Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and the Back Bay Chorus Orchestra. Since its creation, the trio has performed all over New England. 

Xonor Trio studied at Boston Conservatory and Longy School of Music of Bard College where their coaches were Jonathan Cohler and Randall Hodgkinson.
