Concord-Carlisle High Hires New Principal: Report

Current principal Peter Badalament announced his departure from CCHS in February.

CONCORD, MA—After an extensive search, Concord-Carlisle High School has hired its new principal.

According to a report by the Concord Journal, Superintendent Diana Rigby announced Friday that current Groton-Dunstable Regional High School principal Michael Mastrullo will take the reigns of CCHS. Mastrullo takes over for current principal Peter Badalament, who announced his departure in February.

The Journal also reports that Mastrullo was unanimously recommended by the selection committee, and will begin his duties in July. Mastrullo served as the assistant principal at Tyngsboro High School, and also played minor league baseball in the Cleveland Indians' farm system.
