UPDATE: Concord Outdoor Water Use Restrictions Currently Not Necessary
Town Manager Chris Whelan stated that outdoor water use restrictions may have been necessary after a water pump failure Monday.

CONCORD, MA—Outdoor water use in Concord will not be restricted as of now, according to Concord Town Manager Chris Whelan.
Whelan stated at the Board of Selectmen's meeting Monday that a water pump failed at Nagog Pond in Acton Monday, and that crews worked overnight to make repairs. Whelan told Patch that the water pump at Nagog Pond has been repaired.
If the water pump had not been prepared, outdoor water use restrictions may have been necessary, according to Whelan.
