Concord Cop Log: Illegal Camp Site, Microsoft Scam, Sick Possum Put Down

Mon., Aug. 25

  • 7:08 a.m. Animal control officers put down a sick possum on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.
  • 8:44 a.m. A lost golden retriever was reported on Range Road.
  • 10:39 a.m. A lost coon cat was reported on Main Street. A search was negative.
  • 11:14 a.m. Officers on patrol found an illegal camp site behind Crosby’s Supermarket. There were alcohol containers and evidence of drug use.
  • 6:31 p.m. A woman on Annursnac Hill Road reported being scammed by someone claiming to be from Microsoft.
  • 8:14 p.m. A driver struck and killed a deer on Thoreau Street.

Tue., April 26

  • 7:13 a.m. Two drivers got into a verbal confrontation on Walden Street.
  • 11:26 a.m. Luis Caizan, 28, of Lowell, was charged with failing to stop/yield and unlicensed operation of a vehicle after a traffic stop on Lowell Road.
  • 4:08 p.m. A bicyclist reported a car almost hit him near the Concord Country Club.
  • 6:42 p.m. A yellow Jeep was reportedly speeding on Monument St.

  • 1:36 p.m. A caller said a suspicious red truck was parked in front of Town Hall for 20 minutes with the engine on. It turned out the driver was checking his email.
  • 4:38 p.m. A lost cat was reported near Concord-Carlisle High School.
  • 6:11 p.m. A lost dog was reported on Old Marlboro Road.
