Concord Cop Log: Police Impersonator Says He Has a Warrant, $700 Utility Company Scam, Dog Attack
The following are excerpts from the Concord police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Thur., Sept. 18
- 8:21 a.m. A driver was cited for causing a minor crash at Concord Academy.
- 12:30 p.m. A caller reported a driver urinated on the front lawn of a home on Nashawtuc Road.
- 2:29 p.m. A woman on Southfield Road said she was the victim of bank fraud.
- 6:41 p.m. A woman reported her dog was attacked by a neighbor’s dog. Animal control contacted the owner of the dog involved in the attack.
- 11:35 p.m. Emerson Hospital staff said they needed help controlling an unruly patient in the emergency room.
Fri., Sept. 19
- 9:11 a.m. A man reported his mother’s nurse may have stolen her credit card.
- 12:35 p.m. A driver reported another driver cut him off on Route 2.
- 3:12 p.m. A man reported he was scammed out of $700 from a party pretending to be a utility company.
- 4:16 p.m. A woman on Black Duck Road said someone identifying himself as “Jack Dawson from Concord police” said he had a warrant for her husband’s arrest and then hung up. Police discovered the man was calling from North Carolina.
