Concord Cop Log: SUV Crashes into Building, Paintball Vandal Strikes, Neighbor Annoyed by Dog Going After Trash

Mon., Sept. 15

  • 6:31 a.m. Servin Martinez, 39, of Providence, Rhode Island, was charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle and having an unregistered vehicle following a traffic stop on Walden Street.
  • 10:35 a.m. A woman reported losing her Australian driver’s license.
  • 10:46 a.m. Someone vandalized Nine Acres Wine by shooting paintballs at the building.
  • 12:20 p.m. A man reported he was the victim of a scam where the caller claimed he kidnapped his friend in Kiev and needed money to be released.
  • 1:54 p.m. A woman on Caterina Heights said her neighbor’s dog was going through her trash. She said it was an “ongoing issue.”
  • 3:30 p.m. A white Chevrolet being operated erratically on Route 2 west then got into a minor crash in Acton.

Tue., Sept. 16

  • 8:07 a.m. A chocolate lab and a black lab were found on Whittemore Street.
  • 2:22 p.m. A Ford Explorer hit the Harvard Vanguard building on Baker Avenue. The driver was not hurt.
  • 7:44 p.m. A Toyota Camry crashed into a drainage ditch on Conant Street.

  • 12:37 a.m. Alva Burgess, 53 of Norwich, Conn., was charged with driving with a suspended license.
  • 7:06 a.m. A loose white dog was reported near Monument Square.
  • 8:45 a.m. A New York man said he was possibly the victim of identity fraud by a Concord resident.
  • 7:37 p.m. A lost tabby cat with a brown/red coat was reported missing from Independence Road
  • 10:07 p.m. A possible sick raccoon was repored on Pine Street.
