Concord Coronavirus: Cases Rise To 22

Here is the latest updates about the coronavirus in Concord.

CONCORD, MA — Concord has 22 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in town, as of Monday. The town warned residents that the case count number is likely an under-representation of the true case number in town.

"The lack of availability of COVID-19 tests means many people who are symptomatic are not being tested or reported as positive cases," the town said in a notice to residents, "Everyone should assume that the virus is widespread and that anyone you meet could be infectious."

To slow the spread of the virus, Concord's Annual Town Meeting was moved to June 22 and the town election was moved to June 11.
