Concord Creatures Caught Taking Advantage Of Highway Tunnels
Wildlife tunnels provide a safe passage for animals to cross major roadways.
CONCORD, MA — Humans may be social distancing at home but wildlife are still out and about and Massachusetts Department of Transportation officials caught some wildlife in action in Concord.
Animals were spotted using the wildlife tunnels under Route 2. Wildlife tunnels provide a safe passage for animals to cross major roadways.
Mass DOT tweeted photos of a red fox and a river otter who used the tunnels in their journeys this week:
