Concord Free Public Library to offer Six-Week Genealogy Workshop

Genealogy Workshop

Educator, lecturer, and genealogy researcher Linda MacIver will teach a six-week introduction to genealogy research workshop at the Concord Free Public Library (129 Main Street) on Thursdays from 2 – 4 p.m. from September 12 to October 24 (there will be no class on Sept. 26). The series will include an introduction to researching your family tree, using the library's resources, and finding your immigrant ancestors.

The dates for the classes are as follows:

September 12
September 19
October 3
October 10
October 17
October 24

The first two classes are mandatory, and attendees must have basic computer skills to participate. The six-week series is limited to 12 participants.
