Concord Middle School Principal Accepts New Position In District

The school district has announced that Concord Middle School principal Lynne Beattie will be accepting another position in the district.

CONCORD, MA—After 15 years as the Concord Middle School (CMS) Principal, Lynne Beattie will be moving on to another position in the district.

According to an announcement from Concord Public Schools (CPS), Beattie has accepted the K12 Digital Literacy Administrator position for both CPS and the Concord-Carlisle Regional School District (CCRSD). The position focuses on integrating technology to improve student learning.

"While Lynne will be missed at CMS where she has served for 15 years, we are thrilled that she will be able to focus her attention on improving student learning with integrated technology throughout the district," the statement read.

CMS will be lead by Assistant Principal Drew Rosenshine on an interim basis, and an assistant principal will be hired at the Peabody building. Anne Cline-Scott will continue at Sanborn as the Assistant Principal.
