Concord Orchestra Young Artist Concert

The Concord Orchestra, conducted by Richard Pittman, presents its winter concert on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31. Hana Chang, winner of the 2015 Ehlers Young Artist Competition, will perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor. Also on the program is Toccata Concertante by Irving Fine and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6. Both performances are at 8 pm at the Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden in Concord. Competition runners-up will give a pre-concert recital each evening at 7:15. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for senior citizens, and $10 for students.
