Concord Police Log: Lost Drone; School Bus with Children Aboard Crashes; Billerica Woman Cited After Crash

Thur., Jan. 8

  • 12:22 a.m. A damaged vehicle was reported on Independence Road. Police searched the area and found nothing.
  • 9:56 a.m. Officers assisted Acton police with a five-car crash in that town.
  • 12:47 p.m. A man said he lost his remote-controlled drone near the Hunt Gym on Stow Street.
  • 3:35 p.m. A driver was cited following a crash on Old Marlboro Road.
  • 4:09 p.m. A caller said a vehicle illegally passed a school bus on Route 2.
  • 4:37 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle struck a deer on Monument Street.

  • 9:27 a.m. A vehicle struck a fire hydrant on Lexington Road.
  • 11:52 a.m. Following a crash on Commonweath Avenue, Mary Connell, 51, of Billerica, was charged with operating with a suspended license and failure to use care in stopping.
  • 2:56 p.m. Minor injuries were reported following a two-car crash on Main Street. Police were notified about the crash through a Sirius XM system.
  • 3:01 p.m. A Littleton school bus was involved in a crash on Route 2. There were children on the bus, but no one was hurt.
  • 4:32 p.m. Computers and an iPhone were stolen from Emerson Hospital.
  • 4:39 p.m. A woman said someone keyed her SUV on Baker Avenue Extension.
