Concord Police Recognized by AAA Northeast

The department received an award for outstanding achievements in traffic safety.

CONCORD, MA — The Concord Police Department was recognized by AAA Northeast with the Gold Award for outstanding achievements in traffic safety and continuing efforts to educate and protect the community.

The department was given the award on Friday at Patriot Place in Foxboro. Patrol Division Commander Lieutenant Kevin Monahan accepted the award for the Department. Chief O’Connor said, “We are honored to receive this award and will continue to strive to keep our roadways safe.”

Inspector Ronald Holsinger, the Department’s Safety Officer was awarded AAA Northeast’s Traffic Hero Of The Year Award for his efforts to educate and protect the community.

“Inspector Holsinger performs a wide range of traffic related duties and we are safer due to his efforts.” Chief O’Connor added, “Congratulations to Inspector Holsinger and all our Officers who have contributed to our safety initiatives.”
