Concord Police Searching for Runaway Girl, 17

Marissa L. Medeiros left her Garrison road home Wednesday at about 4 p.m. and has not been seen since.

Concord police on Thursday said they are trying to find a girl who ran away from home.

Marissa L. Medeiros, 17, ran away from her Garrison Road home Wednesday at about 4 p.m., police said.

She is white, with long brown hair that may be worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt. She may be carrying a black backpack. Police said she may have traveled out of the state.

Anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Medeiros or has seen her is asked to call the Concord Police Department at 978-318-3400.

Police said the multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, and are involved in the search for her.
