Concord Public Works Street Sweeping Announced
The street sweeping occurs in preparation for the Patriots Day Parade.

CONCORD, MA—The following is a memorandum from the Concord Department of Public Works. Street and Sidewalk sweeping will occur on April 15 and 18 beginning at 4 a.m.
As part of the ongoing street sweeping program and in preparation for the Patriot’s Day Parade, CPW’s Highway and Grounds Division has scheduled additional early morning street and sidewalk sweeping activities. It is necessary to schedule these activities early in the morning to avoid increased traffic volumes and parked vehicles which result in limited access during daytime hours. CPW crews will be using street sweepers, sidewalk sweepers, backpack blowers, and handheld power brooms.The areas affected as part of this program include:
