Concord Raises $7,000 Worth Of Gifts For Holidays

This year's Holiday Gift Drive managed by Concord's Community Services and the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest was a massive success.

CONCORD, MA — Concord spread plenty of holiday cheer this season with a successful Holiday Gift Drive. The town gift drive raised $7,000 worth of gifts for children of all ages in the community.

Town employees and residents donated to the drive, which was managed by Concord’s Community Services and the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest. The town was able to give gifts to approximately 130 children for the holidays.

The town didn't just give gifts but gift cards as well — the Corinthian Lodge of Concord donated $5,100 in gift cards through their Masonic Angel Fund. The National Charity League and volunteers from the Community Chest also helped in collecting gifts.
