Condo Owner Calls Cops After Neighbor Brings Alcohol to Community Fire Pit

Thur., July 31
7:21 a.m. A caller reported people were playing tennis at Emerson Field before the allowed start time of 8 a.m. An officer spoke with the tennis players.
9:13 a.m. Anthony Penta, 49, of Nashua, N.H., was charged with operating after suspension and a license plate violation following a traffic stop on the Concord Turnpike.

10:57 a.m. A caller reported a dog was locked inside a hot vehicle with the windows up on Main Street. An officer responded to the scene and said the dog was not in distress and the windows were up.
3:58 p.m. A staff member of Emerson Hospital called and said a vehicle struck a parked car there.

6:39 p.m. A caller reported a goose was struck by a car near Sandy Pond Road. Animal control responded to the scene.
9:08 p.m. Fireworks were reported in the area of Annursnac Hill Road.
9:21 p.m. A resident of Nathan Pratt Drive called police, saying his neighbor “violated” a condominium association rule about alcohol at the community fire pit. Police advised the caller to notify the condo association.
Fri., Aug. 1
7:40 a.m. An employee of a business on Main Street was caught trying to steal copper. The owner of the business said he didn’t want to press charges.
8:20 a.m. A caller on Indian Spring Road said someone destroyed several mailboxes.
4:34 p.m. A caller on Harrington Avenue called police, saying his neighbor was cutting tree branches on his property.
10:20 p.m. A caller reported a pair of “gunshot-type” noises on Ridgewood Road.
