Construction Worker Takes 25-Foot Fall off Ladder in Concord

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified and is investigating the fall.

CONCORD, MA—A 49-year-old Construction worker fell 25 feet off of a ladder in Concord Monday morning, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is now investigating the incident.

Captain James Redmond of the Concord Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the scene at 7:19 a.m. and found the man sitting upright surrounded by other construction workers at the site. Redmond also told Patch that the man was working on a ladder at 547 Old Bedford Rd.

OSHA was notified later this morning and will be investigating the incident.

The man was transported to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. No further information is available on the man's condition.
