Ducky Race, Fair June 6 in Concord

Milldam Nursery School’s 1800 rubber ducks are dusting off their feathers in preparation for the 10th Annual Ducky Race and Fair, to be held on Saturday, June 6th from 10 am to 12 pm at Emerson Playground, 90 Stow Street in Concord (in case of rain, the event will be held in the Hunt Gymnasium at the same location).

This year the Ducky Race will once again feature its famous Lucky Duck Raffle, where many prizes will be awarded, including a birthday party, museum memberships, and gift certificates to area restaurants and retailers, the $500 cash prize sponsored by Sorrento’s Pizza, and much more!

Sponsored by McWalter Volunteer Insurance Agency, the 10th Annual Ducky Race and Fair will also feature a petting zoo of baby animals, train rides, a dunk tank and other old-fashioned carnival games face-painting and more. The Ducky Race and Fair will be a wonderful day of entertainment for the whole family!

As Milldam Nursery School’s largest fundraising event, proceeds support the school’s enrichment and scholarship programs so that every child, regardless of family income, can participate in a meaningful and nurturing preschool experience during a critical development period.

Many local and regional businesses have contributed to the Ducky Race and Fair in support of the school and its mission with either cash sponsorships or in kind donations.
