"Edible Landscape Design"

Make Your Garden Look and Taste Wonderful This Summer!
Join the friendly gardeners of the Somerville Garden Club for a presentation by Barbara Emerson, a Principal Master Gardener and enthusiastic grower of both new and heirloom vegetables. Barbara will cover concepts to consider when adding edible plants to your ornamental garden, or edible flowers to your vegetable beds. In addition, she will give a brief history of food gardening, and demonstrate how container combinations can help urban gardeners with just a patch of sun still grow their own delicious and beautiful healthy food.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on site, and the building is a short walk from the Davis Square Redline T station. Meetings are on the second floor, wheelchair accessible. You do not have to be a resident of Somerville to join the Somerville Garden Club. To learn more, visit www.somervillegardenclub.org
