
Rhode Island will have above-average snowfall this winter, according to the forecast in the 2015 Old Farmer’s Almanac.
“Winter will be colder and slightly wetter than normal, with above-normal snowfall,” the almanac’s forecast for Rhode Island reads.

The coldest periods will be:
- Late December
- Early and mid-January
As for the summer, the forecast said it will be hotter and drier than normal, with a tropical storm threat in early to mid-August.
