Fight at Best Western, Sandwich Smeared on Car, Drunk Patient at Emerson Hospital: Concord Police Log

Mon., Oct. 26

  • 8:34 a.m. A driver was cited after crashing at Concord Academy. No one was hurt.
  • 9:54 a.m. Kevin Sawyer, 57, of Acton, was charged with assault after police were called to the Best Western on Elm Street for a report of a fight. Sawyer and the person he was fighting were transported to Emerson Hospital for treatment.
  • 12:23 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Sudbury Road, Elias Perez, 35, of Lynn, was charged with driving without a license.
  • 1:10 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Elm Street, Guilherme Rodrigues, 47, of Acton, was charged with driving without a license.
  • 4:25 p.m. A driver was cited following a minor crash on Hubbard Street.
  • 7:26 p.m. An out-of-control, intoxicated Somerville man was taken into protective custody at Emerson Hospital.

Tue., Oct. 27

  • 2:14 p.m. A caller told police a worker smeared a sandwich on a vehicle parked on Walden Street.
  • 2:19 p.m. A caller told police an Asian man was possibly taking pictures of children at the Concord Children’s Center playground. Police responded to the scene but couldn’t find the man.
  • 3:57 p.m. A caller said a cat was stuck up in a tree on Old Marlboro Road.
  • 7 p.m. A driver escaped injury after a rollover crash on Strawberry Hill Road.
  • 11:31 p.m. A resident of Kindred Nursing Home reportedly assaulted another resident.

  • 8:38 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Main Street, Maurice LeClerc, 54, of Concord, was charged with driving after suspension for OUI.
