You are cordially invited to the inauguration of The Concord Institute for Indian & Eastern Studies. Its essential purpose is to carry on our Indian and Eastern heritage of spiritual philosophy.

On Sunday, November 23, we will sow the seeds of the institute by calling to mind the spiritual philosophers and poets of the East, including: Tagore, Gandhi, Sri Jagadish Chandra Das, Manoj Das, Nalini Kanta Gupta, Pratap Chandra Majoomder and Sri Aurobindo, as well as the spiritual philosophers and poets of the Middle: Goethe, Schiller, Novalis, Fichte, and Rudolf Steiner, and those kindred spirits of the West, Thoreau, Emerson, Hawthorne, Whitman, and the Alcotts, among the ranks.
