Free Talk at Concord Museum Mon., June 6
A Scholar's Seat: Reproducing Ralph Waldo Emerson's Writing Chair, at the Concord Museum, Monday, June 6, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Trustees of Reservations Senior Curator Christie Jackson and Concord Museum Curator David Wood will unveil a new reproduction of Ralph Waldo Emerson's writing chair and provide insights into the process of reproducing a remarkable piece of furniture. Emerson wrote his acclaimed 1836 work "Nature" at The Old Manse sitting in a Windsor writing chair, which is now in the Concord Museum collection.
