Fundraiser to Save the Toy Shop of Concord
Supporters are trying to raise $80,000 to help the store overcome a dispute with its landlord.

A fundraising effort is underway to save the Toy Shop of Concord.
Owner David Hesel recently said he has no choice but to close his store because of a dispute with his building’s new landlord. The landlord claims Hesel must pay $80,000 in repairs and maintenance costs.
“We don’t owe this and we will not pay this,’’ Hesel told the Boston Globe.
