Please help the United Woman’s Club of Concord to exceed the success of previous years. Our philanthropic focus continues to be raising funds for scholarships. In 2015 and 2016 we awarded three $3,000 scholarships to Concord-Carlisle High School students. Our goal is to raise enough funds from the 2017 Annual Fair to award four scholarships.
We are your neighbors! Our supporters, shoppers have become our friends. Every year is always such a great reunion with friends, co-workers, family and with club. Our members taught in the Concord schools, worked at Emerson Hospital, Town offices, owned local stores, and served on many of the non-profit Boards in town and in surrounding towns. We provide the perfect setting for the reunions in the comfort of the Café.
In addition to all the shoppers, our cause is also supported by many companies, restaurants and organizations. These donors open their hearts wide and provide us with funds and goods to help us achieve our goal without the benefit of a tax deduction. They embody the spirit of selfless giving and their desire to help us support the future leaders who receive the scholarships. These angels of generosity are:
