"How Democracies Die"

Harvard professors Stevan Lepitsky and Daniel Ziblatt have spent over 20 years studying the breakdown of democracies around the globe. In their new book, "How Democracies Die", they offer a look at the downfall of liberal democracies around the world, and a road-map for rescuing our own. "How Democracies Die" is an effort to better understand where current threats to democracies come from and the experiences of other democracies in crisis to suggest strategies that we should - and should not - follow. The public is invited to join the Reclaim Our Democracy Committee at First Parish in Concord to discuss this issue with the authors. Refreshments.
