Raising funds for high school college bound seniors scholarships

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO EDUCATE FUTURE LEADERS
For over 20 years United Woman's Club of Concord has been holding their Annual Holiday Scholarship Fair. We hope you will find it interesting to know that United Woman's Club of Concord has been around since the turn of the century and the current members are in their 70s, 80s and 90s. The philanthropic focus of the Woman's Club continues to raise funds for high school college bound seniors scholarships that are awarded in the Spring.
The Club had a great fair in 2015 during which we raised enough funds to give three $3,000 scholarships to Concord-Carlisle High School students. THIS YEAR WE OUR SURPASSED OUR GOAL!!!

The fair featured Jewelry, Attic Treasurers/Bazaar, Boutique, Sweets & Treats and Café.
The fair’s success is credited by the hard work of the club members, who put in a great deal of time, energy and effort before and during the fair.

We would be amiss not to mention all the contributions by the Concord and surrounding community residents (neighbors, friends, club members, etc.) for their generosity. Although we greatly appreciate ALL of the donations, most of all we appreciate the donors making a difference in young people’s lives by OPENING THEIR HEARTS in support of the club and scholarships.
