It takes a community to educate future leaders
"Book Nook" at the West Concord Pharmacy and at the Concord Crosbys Market
IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO EDUCATE FUTURE LEADERS. The Concord community has
come together to raise funds for Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) students scholarships. The United Woman's Club of Concord (UWCC)is pleased to announce our new "Book Nook" at the West Concord Pharmacy. The honor system bookshelf is filled to the brim with books in top notch condition.
When you go into the Pharmacy, look left: it is next to the door with a cash box bolted on the top with an
explanation and another framed article about our Scholarship Fund on the end of the bookcase.
The 3 shelves are filled with lots of novels we suggest people donate $2.50 for hardcovers and $1.00 for paper
books. Every cent will go to the Scholarships for deserving CCHS students.

Weowe a great deal to the community spirit and a big heart of Mr. Dinno, owner of the West Concord Pharmacy for being so nice to let us place the "Book Nook" in there. The bookshelf was generously donated by Meg Gaudet, owner of the New Leaf inWest Concord.
The Crosby family has a long history with the UWCC and for many years they have kindly hosted our first "Book Nook" at Concord's Crosbys Market in Concord. It's been a great success and we hope you will check it out when shopping.

We would appreciate that folks who wish to support our effort will call Jill at 978-369-6534 rather than leaving them in the store. ALL contributions will be greatly appreciated.
