The Concord Conservatory of Music is proud to present a concert for the entire family, three-time Grammy-Award nominee and most successful children’s entertainer Justin Roberts. The Concord Conservatory of Music will welcome the witty and insightful singer-songwriter to Concord, Massachusetts at 51 Walden/Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 5th for two shows at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. His family concerts guarantee crowd participation, toe-tapping, and rhythmic swaying.

With a knack for crafting songs that traverse childhood ups and downs, his songs relate to all ages. Sometimes silly and clever, and sometimes poignant, his songs elicit head bopping and singing along. Whether it’s the catchy tune Pop Fly reminding parents that their kid is not the only one picking dandelions in the outfield or Lemonade reminding us that you’ve got to mix the sweet with the sour, his songs are introspective and speak from a kid’s perspective. His songs get parents to reflect on what their kids are going through.

People Magazine says Justin Roberts is, “On your feet fun and laugh-out loud funny.” The New York Times says, “He has a remarkable ability to see through a child’s eyes… the Judy Blume of kiddie rock.”. His early music career experience as an indie-rocker and as a Montessori preschool teacher prepared him well to entertain the under-7 group. Yet, the kids are not the only ones singing along at the concerts. Parents seem to know every word too.
