League of Women Voters of Concord and Carlisle Announces Concord Local Election Candidates’ Forum for March 19

The League of Women Voters invites the public to a candidates' forum for the Concord Town Election on Sunday , March 19, at 2 pm.

The League of Women Voters invites the public to a candidates’ forum for the Concord Town Election. The forum will be held on Sunday, March 19, at 2 pm in the Concord Town House, 22 Monument Square.

Candidates for all four local races will participate. The races on the ballot include Select Board (Michael Lawson), Town Moderator (Carmin Reiss), Concord School Committee (Wallace Johnston), and Concord Housing Authority (Linda Escobedo). None of the races is contested. Concord’s Town Election will be held on March 28, 12 noon to 8 pm.

This forum provides the public with the opportunity to meet the candidates, learn more about Concord’s local government offices, and the candidates’ views on important opportunities and issues for the Town of Concord.

The LWVCC would like to hear the questions the public has for these candidates. Please submit your questions to VoterService@lwvcc.org by March 17. Questions can also be submitted in writing at the forum on March 19.
