Let the adventure begin - an Adventure Camp preview event!

4th-9th graders and their families and friends are invited to a complimentary preview afternoon of Thoreau Outdoor Adventure Camp for:

  • Geocaching
  • Campfire Cooking
  • Shelter Building
  • Plus, meet the Director and Leaders
Thoreau Outdoor Adventure Camp is a truly appealing option for individuals grades 4-9 seeking an alternative to sleep-away-camp. Campers will spend multiple nights exploring new environments using their new found outdoor skills, while learning valuable and fun lessons. These experiences will increase campers self confidence, contribute to their sense of accomplishment, build and strengthen their own unique character and foster lifelong friendships.
