Man Drowns In White Pond: Concord Police
He was pulled from the water and folks nearby performed CPR on him, but he died at the hospital.

CONCORD, MA — An man drowned while swimming in White Pond in Concord, on Monday afternoon, according to police.
Someone called police just before 2:18 p.m. to report a man had been pulled from the shore off the eastern portion of White Pond and CPR was being performed.
When Concord Police and Firefighters arrived, the first responders continued life-saving efforts on the man. EMTs took the man, who is in his 70s, to Emerson Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The man's name is not being released until police notify his next of kin. Police said they're still investigating just what happened.
Town land at the cove is posted as "No Swimming" in the past and the Select Board voted at a Spring meeting to close the cove to swimmers for 2015.
