Man Killed When Truck Backs Up Into Him In Concord
The victim was killed Monday afternoon when a commercial vehicle backed up into him.

CONCORD, MA — A man working on the side of the road was killed when he was struck by a commercial truck, authorities said.
The utility pickup truck was backing up when it struck the man at the intersection of Independence Road and Alcott Road around 12:22 p.m., according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Concord Chief of Police Joseph O’Connor. The driver of the truck stayed on scene
The victim was brought to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
