CONCORD, MA — A Bedford man who police said kidnapped a Concord resident and forced the victim at knifepoint to drive him to Connecticut was arrested in Florida Thursday.

Julian Field, 24, was arrested on a federal warrant and charged with kidnapping. Field will appear in federal court in Key West, Fla., Friday before being brought to Massachusetts.

Court documents say that Field broke into a Concord home late Sunday night and forced the homeowner to drive him to a train station in Connecticut, stopping by Springfield on the way in an attempt to get illegal drugs. Field allowed the victim to leave at that point.
