'Maple Sugaring on Your Home Stove' Course Near Concord

Come to SVT's Wolbach Farm to learn about collecting sap and making syrup, March 9

Sudbury Valley Trustees is hosting Rachel Goclawski, of Cooking with Mrs. G, for “Maple Sugaring on Your Home Stove” on Monday, March 9, at 7:00 pm at Wolbach Farm, 18 Wolbach Road in Sudbury.

Learn to identify sugar maples, tap trees, and boil the sap to make syrup. With hands-on and classroom learning, you will see how sap transforms as it boils and will taste test syrups. Rachel is a certified educator whose programming is focused on foraging, science in the kitchen, and self-reliance skills.

Originally scheduled for March 2, due to the cold weather and the lack of sap flow, this program was rescheduled for March 9.
