Me’ah. Inspired Learning for Adults of All Backgrounds.
Me’ah (Hebrew for 100), takes participants on an exciting two-year, 100-hour journey through the broad panorama of Jewish history.
You’ll Study and Discuss:
• The Hebrew Bible in its original ancient Near Eastern context
• The development of civil and religious laws by Jewish sages during the Talmudic period
• The contributions of Jews living under Islamic and Christian rule during medieval times
• Jewish approaches to the challenges of modernity
