New Gräem Roasted Nuts Takes Prime Concord Corner

Gräem Roasted Nuts signed a lease at 49 Main Street in Concord, MA in Linear Retail's Friend Block

(Burlington, MA; 03/14/2018)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that Gräem Roasted Nuts will open its first shop at the corner of Main and Walden Streets in downtown Concord, MA.

The European-inspired roasted nut shop will serve a variety of nuts, dried fruits, chocolates and other locally sourced goods. The store will also carry a gift basket line with reusable packaging. The upscale, warm environment will include antique counters, large burlap sacks, reclaimed wooden floors, exposed brick walls and a vintage fireplace mantle.

Gräem Roasted Nuts owner, Nikki Crugnale commented, “Concord’s historic and charming downtown is the ideal setting to start our new business. We look forward to joining the Concord community this summer”.

There is one, 1,817 SF retail space available on Walden Street and up to 3,600 SF of office space available on the second floor of the Friend Block.

Linear Retail recently completed a $1.5 million renovation of the Friend Block building which included the restoration of the exterior, replacement of all windows and mechanical systems, updated insulation of all spaces, new bathrooms, ADA accessibility and the addition of an elevator. The Friend Block was acquired by Linear Retail in January 2016 and is located at the center of Concord’s shopping district at the intersection of Main St (Rte. 62) and Walden St. The 11,740 SF building was originally constructed in 1892 and is named after John Friend, who opened “Friend Pharmacy” on the corner.
