New Programs for Babies and Toddlers at Concord Free Public Library
Mindful Baby Yoga and Early Literacy Summer Program
CONCORD – This summer, the Concord Free Public Library will be offering two new programs for young children and their caregivers. These free programs give parents and caregivers the opportunity to bond with their child while helping to build important developmental skills.
Starting on Monday, July 10, the Fowler Branch Library will be hosting a Mindful Baby Yoga series in the Meeting Room. This 4-week series offers a warm and supportive environment for parents to develop a more mindful relationship and connection with their little one(s). Parents/caregivers will engage with their infants and toddlers through gentle mindful movement, deep breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and mindful games.
This free program will be held on Mondays at 10 am from July 10 through July 31 and is open to parents/caregivers and babies and toddlers up to 4 years old. Space is limited so please register in advance at concordlibrary.org or by calling the Fowler Branch Library at 978-318-3350. This program is organized by Ivy Child International and will be led by Certified Yoga Teacher, Mary Lance. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.

The Concord Free Public Library will also be offering a new Early Literacy Summer Program, “Rubber Ducky Readers”. This program encourages parents and young children to engage in a variety of activities together, designed to build early literacy skills in children. After completing these activities, children will receive a free book to add to their home library! Activity logs are available at either library branch or online at concordlibrary.org.
