One of Concord's Mazzeo Triplets Dies at 62
Richard Mazzeo, a fisherman, served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era.

Richard P. (Garb) Mazzeo, 62, of Concord died Sunday July 6, 2014 in Framingham.
Born in Concord on January 27, 1952 he was the son of the late Mal Mazzeo and Geraldine (Larson) Mazzeo. He attended Concord schools and was a 1970 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School.

He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era in the early 1970’s.
For many years he worked in various capacities in the construction industry.

An avid fisherman and West Concord character, he was a member of the well known Mazzeo triplets, along with his brothers Raymond and Ronald.
In addition to his brothers Raymond and Ronald, he is survived by siblings, Joe, John, Margaret and Patricia Mazzeo and Paula Hollenkamp, and by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on July 14th in the Dee Funeral Home, followed by an internment service with military honors at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
Concord’s town flag flew at half-staff on Monday July 14th in recognition of Mr. Mazzeo’s service to his country in the U.S. Army.
